Welcome to The De Coutances Garden Design Den

Do you need a hand to visualise your garden design ideas on paper?

Here, we are able to create interesting and exciting new garden layouts and designs based on your simple supplied sketches and information.

If you have an area of your garden that needs a makeover and you are looking for some professional inspiration then you've come to the right place.

Everything can be done by post or e-mail (unless it's a larger project that needs us to visit the site as a full design service for which we will be happy to supply a quotation)

How does it work?

  • You sketch out a plan of the area you need some help with.

  • Make a note on the drawing where any important plants, ponds, seats, statues etc are positioned

  • Take some measurements of this area.

  • Take some digital pictures to show how it fits in the garden

  • Send this information to our design team

  • We'll have a look at what is involved and let you have a quote for providing our design expertise along with some outline written ideas of what we might include.

  • If you are happy with our suggestions then we will ask you for an agreed design fee. Half will be payable in advance of our starting work on the design and the balance when we have sent you the final scheme drawings and any agreed information all using our PayPal account.

You can open, copy and paste a layout grid to sketch your outline area onto by going to the grid picture file here

Then you can either scan it back with your garden area and design ideas on it into your e-mail or send us a copy by post.
